Aeriva.io and Trip.com sign historic agreement to connect Brazil to Asia with artificial intelligence

Through a new "Intelligent Broker," Aeriva.io will provide much of the Brazilian inventory to China's largest OTA, while integrating all Asian content from Trip.com into its platform.

SÃO PAULO — The Aeriva.iohas just announced an unprecedented strategic agreement with the CTrip (Trip.com), the largest online travel agency (OTA) in China and one of the largest in the world.

The partnership creates an unprecedented bidirectional technological bridge between the Latin American and Asian markets, driven by cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence.

Under the agreement, Aeriva.io will begin consuming all Asian travel inventory provided by Trip.com.

In return, the Brazilian company will assume the role of primary technological engine for the national offering in China, building and operating the AerivaIO Broker— an exclusive "smart broker".

How the Smart Broker will work

The technology developed by Aeriva.io will utilize advanced Artificial Intelligence models to aggregate the best suppliers in the Brazilian market — including Channel Managers (CMs), partner brokers, and independent hotels.

Before any offer reaches the shelves of Trip.com in Asia, Aeriva's AI will evaluate and guarantee the best conditions regarding price, availability, and fundamentally, content quality.

The result is that a large part of Brazil's hospitality inventory sold in China will now be processed by Aeriva.io technology.

Opportunity to triple Chinese tourism in Brazil

Currently, Brazil represents only 2% of Trip.com's global sales volume. For Aeriva's leadership, however, this number is not a limit, but rather an ocean blue of opportunity.

"To only have 2% ofsharetoday is great, as it shows us the size of our growth potential", commentsJulio Limaco-founder of Aeriva. "We are not just giving CTrip direct negotiation inventory or through partners; we are delivering state-of-the-art content.

We strongly believe that this visual and descriptive quality will make all the difference in conversion, and has the potential to triple the number of Chinese tourists coming to Brazil."

AI as a competitive advantage

The technological infrastructure of Aeriva.io was the decisive factor in consolidating the partnership with the Asian giant. The ability to process complex hospitality data and transform it into optimized offers caught the attention of Trip.com's top management.

"I am deeply impressed by the level of Artificial Intelligence maturity we found at Aeriva," declaredJane Jie Sun, CEO of Trip.com. "It is rare to see a company that genuinely invests in deep research and has AI not merely as a supplement, but as its truecorebusiness."

The partnership is already in the technical implementation phase and promises to redefine hotel distribution standards between Latin America and the Asian market in the coming months.
